I am close to purchasing a 2001 Lariat Crew Cab and would like to customize it somewhat while remaining on a $1000 budget. Would I be wasting my time buying custom rims and staying with the stock rubber? Could I do that for the near term and put new rubber on them down the road? Has anyone done this and have any pictures?
