I'm thinking about getting new wheels on my 97 4x2 F150. A couple years ago, I got new tires, went up a size to 265/75 16. I believe the truck came from the factory with 15's. I'm interested in getting some Mickey Thompson's wheels (16x8). I've read about the gear ratio when changing tires, but I'm also wondering if I can even put those size wheels on my truck? Is there a clearance issue I need to be concerned about? How do I go about determining if that size wheel will fit properly?
