Question Tire Pressure

Hi there! I own a 1998 F-150 4x2 with stock 235/70R16 tires. However, I changed my mags and tires to 17x8 AR Atlas and General Grabber AW 275/60R17's. What is the right tire pressure can I inflate my new tires? Will 28psi up front and 30psi on the rear work well? I just followed the specs of my Expedition 4x2 having the same tires as the one I changed in the F-150. Thanks!

Try this on for size:

Look at max tire load capacity. Divide your actual wheel weight by that max. Multiply the max tire pressure by the result. Use that figure as your tire pressure.

Thanks Y2K!

Does the overall wheel weight include the tires or the wheels (steel) only?
