Attn: All F250-F350 & Excursion owners. The government opened an investigation this past Friday concerning the Firestone Steeltex R4S and A/T light truck tires after receiving reports the tires were involved in accidents in which two people died and twevle were injured. There are a total of 167 complaints about tread separation. These tires were used on all of the Excursions and Forty percent of the F-series trucks. Both models are available in the 15 inch, 16 inch and 16.5 inch sizes. For more information, contact the Firestone website. Please keep in mind that this is still an investigation.
