33" or 35" Tires?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a lift/tire size that would look aggressive and is noticeable, but nothing to monstrous. I was thinking about a 4 inch suspension lift with 33" tires, but not sure if thats big enough. Does anyone have any pics of this set up with either 33 or 35 inch tires? Lets see some pics and some feedback. Thanks again!

I have 33" tires on my stock height 97, and it looks great, but I would love the resources to do a 4 or 5 inch lift. Unfortunately up in Canada its BIG BUCKS to get that kind of work done.....never mind that you have to double the price you see in magazines for the lifts. 33's will fit with no rubbing even offroading. I think if you went with a lift....33's might look a little puny (kinda like how most dodge 4x4's look) 35's would fill up the wheel wells a lot nicer in my opinion. Just keep in mind the bigger the tire the more expensive (mileage, brakes, tires, ball joints) I'm just jealous I don't have the cash for it. Hope this helps in some way

I agree - 33" tires + lift doesn't look good. 35" tires with a 2-3" lift would look good.

Here's a pic of my 4x4 Screw with a 3 inch body lift and 33 inch BFG's on 16x10 Eagle Alloys.

I think a 4" lift and some 33s would look pretty good actually, especially if you went with a 10" wheel. It all depends on the look you want. If you like the "stuffed" tire effect, put 35s on with a 3" body lift. I like to have some space in the fenderwells, so that's why I went with a 2" body lift on top of my suspension lift. If I could do it over I'd go 3" on the body lift, but oh well

Question Fabtech 3.5 w/ 2 inch PA body lift

Thanks for your replies guys. How do you think a 3.5" Fabtech performance suspension kit with a 2" PA body lift would look with 35" tires? How wide of tire and what diameter of wheel would you recommend for this type of set up?

I have a 4x2. Butter-cheese, your truck sounds awesome, any pics? And, does it seem your truck could flip at all with being that tall and having a spindle lift or do those fabtech shocks help with that? Thanks!

With a 4x2, I'd go with 33's on a 3 to 4 inch lift and 35's with a 5 to 7 inch lift. The 4x2's sit approximately 3 inches lower than a 4x4.

If you're gonna spend the time and money to lift it......you may as well go all out......i recomend at least 4 inches. fabtech makes a nice 5" for the 2 wheel drives. wheels and tires.......that is all a matter of opinion. 16x8's give it a clean tuck look.....16x10's stick the tire out more.......throw mud all over the truck alot faster.
check out my pics......ive got an 02 F150 FX4, 4" lift with 35's on 17x8 factory wheels for now.

Drew, you truck looks awesome, I want that same type of clean but noticeable lift size. My truck is completely stock right now...
so any pics of mine wouldn't be anything special YET. Since mine is a 4x2 how much lift do you think? I would think something around 6 inches in total, but how do you think I should lift it? Body lift? Suspension? Both? Know of any good companies for this? Thanks!

well a 6" Fabtech susp. lift would be the way to go.....but they are kind of expensive......a 4" susp. and a 3" body looks good as well.......check rancho, superlift, explorer pro comp, skyjacker, trailmaster.........they differ alittle but not by much. do alittle research some ride better than others.......if money is not an object i would go with Fabtech. let me know.
