Question 315/75 R16

will 315/75's fit on a 16x8 wheel, or do I need to go wider??? How about 36x12.5 R16 super swamper TSL radials? Any info would be great, thanks!

For example if you are going with BFG's they recommend a rim width range from 8" to 10" for the LT315/75R16/D. So you would be in the lower acceptable and recommended limit.
