Post Rim Swap

I got those crappy firestone wilderness at's on my 97 f-150. The problem is that they won't recall my size. My dad has a 91 f-150 that we just put some bfg at's on. I was wondering if the bolt pattern was interchangable between the 2 trucks.

I'm still not sure of the bolt pattern, never got that far. But, you have to grind down the front brake calipers (on 4x4 at least) for the 15" wheels to fit. NOT something I wanted to experiment with. Not sure if this helps, but sounds like a similar swap I was going to do.

I don't think the bolt patterns will allow a swap. Besides, the '97 should have hub-centric rims and the '91 will be lug-centric. Even the lug bolt diameter is different.

Finally, after 3 years, do you think there is a danger? If so, what about your dad?

I just bought the truck from my uncle a few weeks ago, otherwise I would have repalced the tires along time ago. The idea of trying to swap the rims was my dads idea to begin with.
