I have changed the abs sensor and no luck!
1999 f150 4x4 4.2L.......I have the abs light on and the brake light on all the time. The brakes are working just fine but i did check the code on the abs light and it flashed 4 times and everyone else says that 16=Nothing wrong. So i am stumped on what the 4 flashes=. I replaced the rear sensor and it has not changed anything so if any one has an idea what to do next please let me know.

I have the exact same problem. I recently had my truck back to the dealer to find out why the dash brake and abs light stay on. I also changed the rear speed sensor with no luck. Anyhow, the dealer says it is a bad rabs control module. They wanted $780.00 for the parts and labor. The service manager said that most people simply ignore the light rather than pay the steep price. I found the part on the net for $475. I am still looking for a better price. Perhaps a used one. Any info on how difficult this would be to change would be a great help! I am wondering if any special tools are needed. I believe the module is located under the radio behind the dash. I think the 4 wheel abs module is next to the power brake booster. My truck is a 1998 and only has rear anti locks.
