Slotted is a great way to keep 'em cool, drilled not so cool...
As the rotors heat up and cool down the expanding and contracting around the holes cause stress cracking. Even chamfered holes won't prevent this.
Add carbon metallic/ceramic pads to enhance the performance of your slots, you'll be impressed.
