Need help with wheels!
I'm hoping that some of you out there can help me.
I'm getting ready to buy some new wheels and tires for my truck. I have decided to go with
285/75r/16 BFG AT's and 16 x 9.5 centerline 61 series wheel. I called Discount Tires here in CA. I was quoted $260.00 per wheel and that they had to be custom built for my truck due to bolt pattern and offset. Has anyone else had this problem with aftermarket wheels?
Also does anyone know the bolt pattern/size and the offset of factory wheels or min./max. offset you can go?
Thanks for any info.

Have you considered the American Racing Bajas? DT sells them for $105 each and they have ones that already fit the F150s. I know a lot of guys that use those wheels with the 285s and it looks great! I'm about to get the same package.
The factory rims on my Expedition were 16x7 (hub-centric) with a 5x135mm bolt pattern and +14mm offset.
Even though the "new" F150 has been out for almost 4 years, there is still a limited number of options for aftermarket wheels. Changing the offset too much in either way could effect the handling of the truck. Although, I don't know how much of a change is "too much".

97,
I think you can get those wheels from Summit Racing for $190 ea. Its 4-6 weeks delivery time, even though they say 2-4. I know because I ordered some Centerline style 60's April 4th & was told they'd be delivered on the 27th. Now its suppose to be May 10th. You can probably find someone who will at least promise a quicker delivery time, but they'll cost more. As far as offset, I think someone on this site had the same tires on Weld 16x10's, which have 5-6mm more offset than the Centerlines. And they fit with a little rubbing.
