I have a 2000 4x2 sport and want to add some larger tires .
The original are 275 60 17 what is the largest I can go without problems , any recomendations I like the wrangler mtr look ?

I've seen quit a few people running 285/75-16's on stock 97-03 F-150 4x2's by using the stock 16x7 or aftermarket 16x8 inch rims. Since a 285/70-17 Wrangler MTR is the same size (33x11.50), you should be able to run those on your stock 17x7.5 inch rims. You may have to trim a little plastic off your front bumper's lower plastic valance, but that's no big deal.
