99+ Lightning backspacing

I am getting some new rims for my '01 F150.

I am looking at an 18x9.5 rim and was curious what the backspacing on the Lightning was, as it uses similar rims.

One post I saw says:
Stock Lightning wheel offsite: +14mm (5.8" backspace)

And I was wondering if the 5.8" number was accurate.

Thanks,
-Don

I just put on a set of 99 style lightning replicas on my 03 F150. It has the same exact dimensions as offset that the wheel your describing. Thus far I haven't noticed any rubbing anywhere. However, I have read in a bunch of other posts that you need to install the wheel stops used on the lightnings to keep the rims from scrubbing against the brake hose mounting bolt when the wheel is turned all the way in one direction. There are several threads on here that talk about the offset of the stock lightning wheels as well as the turn stops. Just do a search and you should be able to find all the info you could ever want.
