Question Bridgestone Duellers

I was going to go with a bigger tire, but I honestly dont want to lose any gas mileage or performance with the truck. So i'm gona go with the same size tire. How do the Duellers hold up on and offroad? Do they have a pretty thick sidewall? I dont want a piece of garbage that will pop when I rub up against a large rock when im offroading. Thanks!

I have the Non-Revo A/T 's and love them. I think they are a very good tire.

Last winter while turning into a parking lot I slipped on ice and drove the truck (doing 20-25 MPH) right into the curb which was about 6-8 inches high. Broke my wheel doing it but the tire held up. I don't know how that compares to your offroading but it is good in my book.

Have heard good things about the Dueler (AT) from the one person I know who has had at leat 2 sets of these tires. Price is reasonable also. I prefer the BFG AT myself, though. The BFG's are worth the cost.....but the Duelers are probably as good as their cost also.

I have the Dueler A/T Revos and absolutely love them. Great tire, preform very well on and off road. I've had no experience with the non revo. Can't help you there, but the revo rocks.

Thumbs up dueler at

STWater
the dueler is a popular tire in this area among off roaders, farmers , construction co's ... I have the A/T 693 (non-revo)-- i would recomend it for any application. Great traction in snow, ice, mud and rain slick pavement. The revo,s are mounted for winter but I haven't run them yet.
No mater which size you choose do NOT purchase the P-metric if you want the performance necessary to go off road. They (the p-metric) will ride great and cost a little less but are not a truck tire. There is an LT equivalent size for almost all p-metric sizes.

good luck, conner

I have 33X12.5X15 dueler M/T on my 90 F150. For a mud tire, these things are quiet!!! I would rate them better in noise/wear/on road traction than the BFG M/T. So far I have 10k miles on these tires, you wouldn't know if I didn't tell you. The only problem I have is these tires wear so good that it will be FOREVER before I can buy larget tires. In the mud they pull great. But they won't be any better than a BFG here, you would have to go with a more agressive tread pattern to notice a difference.
