How large??
How large??
I have a 2003 F150 4.2L V6 Sup Cab 2WD stock suspension. I'm curious of the tire size I can fit under there. Or what someone might suggest. I have the stock 16" rims on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hello BigCountry,
With a 4.2, the question is how much power are you willing to sacrifice for bigger tires. I have heard of people running 285/75-16 or even 305/70-16's on stock 2WD's, but you will take a big hit in the horse power department, especially if you have stock gears. I would not go larger than 255/70-16, 265/70-16 or maybe 265/75-16, just my two cents.
