goodyear mt/r 285/70/17 just purchased..any mods needed?

Hey everyone, I just purchased some 285/70/17 Goodyear MT/R's today to replace stock 265's and so far, I love them. They look awesome and very little road noise. My ford dealer is going to adjust my computer with the new tire size next week which I guess will automatically recaliberate my rear gear ratio. Are there any other mods I need to do so that I ensure no engine problems or long term trouble. Do I need to switch out tranny gears? What can I expect as far as MPG decrease? Thanks for any info you all have.

Hello maxpaulimus,

I did not think is was possible to automatically recelebrate your rear gear ratio, you can only install different size gears. New gears would not be necessary with that size tire anyway.
