Off Roading on the freeway?

i recently got a nail in my rear left tire so i patched it.
now i don't know if i did the right thing or not but my car had a little more that 5000 miles on it so i asked the tire shop to rotate the tires as well since they patched it (the patch was included the balancing of the tire).

after that i could feel every bump on the road!!
i check the air pressure on all four tires (35 psi).
i took it to another tire shop they said maybe you need to rebalance both front tires (the patch one and the one next to it).
i looked at the guy like he was out of his mind but since i had no other choice (and my mechanic did recommend them to me) i said go ahead.

unfortunately (and un-surprisingly) the ride was the same as before. so i gave up.

until now....(2 weeks later)
can any one think of what went wrong? and how can i fix it.
i am planning on another rotation once i reach 10,000 but there has to be at least an explanation if not an answer.

thanks,
Amir

what was the tire pressure before they patched it? and what pressure is recomended in the door jam?

You might try dropping it down to 28-30 and see if that helps the ride any...

Before the patch i set it from 35 to 40 (from some reason i had a better ride at 40 psi) after the patch i brought all down to 35.
it felt a little less bumpy but still very noticeable.
the door jam says 35 for all tires.
I’ll try 30 tonight and I’ll let you know.
