Pirelli Scorpion A/T any problems?

Hi everyone,
It's been a long time since I posted something.

I've just been through a horror story with my Pirelli's and wondered if anyone else has had problems with them.

My stock tire was LT245/75R16 load range D, goodyear wrangle AP's. I changed to five Perilli Scorpion A/T LT267/75R16 load range C (they were only few hundred pounds max load less, with softer ride).

First rotation, everything fine.
Second rotation, tire pull up front - get new tire

Third rotation, tire pull up front - get new tire. However by now, other side is worn too since these two were in rear longer (moved up front during rotation) and now worn, so I proate out the other side to get matched pair ( for $180. To date, this was about 2.5 months ago. Been trying to fix this since then).

As I drive on these, I start to realize, Uhm, these seem to pull a little (but they're new?) Go back and they (America's Tire Co - west coast) say sure, that could happen. Then I get a nail in the sidewall on a rear and, under warranty, I need another new tire.

Ah, this is where is gets ugly. My load range C's which seemed so nice at first, are still available, but no one (america tire co) has them any more cause everyone uses Load Range E's now. Uhm..... Since I feel the C's might have been a bit soft when I run my light weight camper (only 900lb) I think, gee maybe I should run E's. But that's not what I have, and I should match them up anyway... Now I need two "C" tires.

... But you seem to be having bad luck with Perilli, "i don't even want to put you back into Perilli's", why not prorate out of these and go ...Michelin LTX M/S "E". (much more $$$) I think why not. They order them.

Then I think these are too expensive. And the Perilli's are great in dirt, gee wouldn't it be great if all my problems were because they're "C" tires. So I go to another store (same Co.) They say, gee I have five Perilli A/T in "E", and I'll swap you out completely (for $350 prorated).

Great, now I have five new E scorpion A/T's.

Did I forget to mention in the middle of all this, I had ball joints replaces (along with rotors, pads, etc., 64kmiles).

I drive off, and WOW, now there's a pull to the left for ya! I think the alignment is off since the ford dealer on the ball joint job maybe isn't the best aligner. So I go to my 'custom alignment' shop a few days later and they verify "alignment OK", it's your tires. "We swapped your two up front, side to side, and now you go straight".

Great. Back to tire co. We move spare up front, guessed as to which of front to move to spare and put other front back to original location to see if pull returns.

No pull. Another E on order to replace what's now on spare rim.

Can anyone relate :-) ????

Do any of you with light duty's and 7 lug hubs have problems? Does anyone have such problems with Perilli's?

I hate to say I do love them. Great on payment, great in dirt, no real noise to speak of, OK wear, not great though. As I wear these out, I'm afraid I'll have to go with Dueler Revo A/T's next :-(
