So I'm heading home and I just turned onto harrison from park. well I'm going around the bend heading home, and this kid, 14-15 yrs old walks out right in front of me. He was about 70-80 feet in front of me, and I'm going about 30 mph, I had to slam on the brakes, no lie. I was about 5 feet from hitting the kid. I came to a stop, and asked the kid "Do you really want to get hit? ****ing dumbass" and I proceeded to drive off.

I'm glad the brakes weren't any more worn than they already are. Have about 70k on them.
