AZSCREW, more Q's on 315/70/17
99 Lariat 4x4, 5.4 w 3.73's, K&N air filter the only mod.
Replacing my tires and can't decide to go with stock or the 315's.
You seem to have the most experiance under your belt w these tires.
So far I have read that the speedo is off about 5 mph(no big deal).
But I have also read that the bigger tires can mess w the ABS system.
Have you had any problems w the ABS?
How many miles are you getting to the gallon?
How do the tires handle over all at this size?
Have you experianced any real power loss?
Sorry for any repeat questions but I just want to make sure getting the 315's won't disapoint me w problems.

Not sure if this will help you but here goes. I have been seeing a truck around locally (02 Screw FX4) that has some sweet looking tires on it. Finally I saw him at a gas station and stopped in. These were Buckshot tires and they were 305's. They looked really awesome. I asked if they rubbed or anything and he said the tire shop had to trim just a tad bit up front by the fog lights and thats it. He has no lift or anything and thats exactly what I'm looking for. He's had them on for a while and no problems at all. So if the 315's are not what your looking for try the 305's......thats what I'm gonna shoot for. I wish I had gotten a pic of them because they really looked great on that truck.

I have not had any problems with the tires. I an currently getting 12.5mpg in town. I just got done with a 2000 mile trip in my dad's Screw with 275/70/17's and he got 20.5 mpg avg for the trip. You do not lose very much. I got 18-19 on the highway with no modes other than the tires. Sorry about not posting earlier I was on vacation.
