tire up size

I own a 1998 F-250 5.4 V8 auto. trans. it has 265 /75R 16 Gereral AP they are the worst tires I have ever owned. When I replace them they will go in the trash I will not sell them 7000Miles and they have to go. My question is can I put LT285/75R16 on a two wheel drive stock truck?

Yes, you can. But, thats as big as you can go. The 285's will fit with no fender trimming. If you are looking to get a lot of miles out of them I suggest going with either the BFG All Terrains or the Bridgestone Dualer A/T's. Hope I helped.
