New Tire Size

Hey guys,

I have a 2001 F150 Lariat 4x4 and its time for new tires. I know a lot of guys may not be big fans of Goodyear tires but I was really impressed with the stock RT/S tires that came on the truck, not the greatest in the mud and very durable. My question is i want to upsize a little and god knows its hard to find tires for our 17" wheels but i see Goodyear has a LT 275/70 R17 AT/S tire. Goodyears page says it will fit the same rims despite being a .5" inch wider or so but what about the slight height increase. Will the tire fit on the truck well and how will it look. Remember stock suspention. Let me know what you guys think?

Hello K2SnowSkis,

I have the 275/70 R17 AT/S on my 2000 F150 Lariat 4x4 and they fit with no problems, looks better that the stock size. You can even go up to a 285/70 R17, but for the time being it only comes in the following tires.

BFGoodrich A/T - 285/70 R17
BFGoodrich M/T - 285/70 R17
Goodyear MTR - 285/70 R17
