305s

What is the middle number on 305/?/16's that are used on a lifted F150? I see 305s referenced from time to time on the board and wanted to see what the height and width of these tires were.

Thanks

Usually either a 70 or 75 series tire. A 305/75/16 is about 34" tall, a 305/70/16 is about 33" tall. That 2nd number is the aspect ratio of the tire. So 305 x 75% = 228.75mm sidewall height.
