Question Napa brakes?

I just put a new set of rotors and pads on my truck this weekend. Because of time constraints, I couldn't wait for mail order, I got the top of the line Napa stuff. I got the best rotors and pads they had. Pads have a lifetime warranty. I was wondering if anyone else has used these and what were the results? The definitely stop the truck better than my old stuff but that's not hard to do since my brakes were shot.

That's funny because I put Napa brakes on my sister's Concorde and they're squeaking now. I don't know if I didn't clean the rotors good enough or what. No squeaking yet on mine.

I have the NAPA cermaic pads and love them. I just need to find better rotors because my wife's likes to warp them.

If you put Napa's top of the line stuff on the truck and it has a lifetime warranty, they are probably full metallic pads. Meaning they contain a lot of metal in them to make them last theoretically "forever." And if you remember what metal on metal does......squeals. If you want the squeal gone, put an oprganic pad on, or try Napa's ceramix pads. Some members are having good luck with them.

I did get Napa's top of the line pad. They're called Application Engineered or something like that and they have the lifetime warranty. One things for sure, they stop the truck a lot better then my old ones. I almost put myself into the windshield a few times already.
