I took off the stock wheels on my 2002 Lightning and replace them with the HD wheels and I am very pleased with the look. I always thought my black L needed some chrome but anyway on to the question....

I don't get crazy but are the HD wheels as strong as the L wheels as far as lateral loading or acceleration and braking? Just wondering if there is any thing to be concerned about. I know they are heavier and the tires aren't the same - less grip, harder compound?
