Question Tar & Ford Mag Wheels

Somehow I've manage to get tar splatered all over my Stock Mag Wheels, which I cannot get off. Does
anybody have any suggestions

I've tried using a rag with a little gas but it still will not break loose

Have you tried "Bug & Tar" remover yet? You guys have that stuff in Indy?

Occasionally, I get a few tar "gobs" stuck to the inside of mine. I always wash the inner wheel each time I wash the truck. Most times these just break off with a scrape of the fingernail and then the slight residue will come off with bug and tar remover.

Try spraying on a lubricant like WD-40,etc. Let it set a few and then wipe/rub. It may take a few times, but generally will remove tar, gum, sticky stuff that otherwise won't come off.
