Question Tire size change and Ford ESP issue?

I need to take my truck in to the shop to get the ball joints replaced and something troubleshooted with the steering gear/box. It is a 98 with 68k on it. I have the Ford ESP coverage for another month on the truck.

The problem/concern is that I have replaced the original 2557016 tires with 2657516 tires. Is it likely that I will have a problem with the ESP covering these componets with the different tire size? I went from 30.2" to 31.8" tire size. These tires have been on for about 35k.

Thanks in advance!

Jim

I don't think you will have a problem. Just don't point it out to them that the tires are bigger. Those tires aren't much bigger than some factory f-150s come with so I highly doubt they will even notice.

Good luck, I hate dealing with those warranty claims. That is why I didn't go with an ESP. I just cross my fingers and hope I never have any major problems like bad trannies, etc.
