Need some imput about new tires.
well that really depends if you think you might reach 138mph or if you are just exaggerating and are really only doing 136mph.
Good grief.
One more thing, if you are asking questions like that, you should not be doing 137mph onless you are the passenger in a plane
good grief

Hey, we got a smartypants from the Pacific Islands!
j/k
Yup, I guess it's kinda extreme, but I want a tire that will withstand that type of heat for Sears Point Raceway, here in California. After next week, when I finally get my pulleys, I will be running my truck for fun at the racetrack. The BFG that come stock on the truck are only rated at 100 mph. So I don't want to be suprised by a blowout however remote the possibility.
I guess I'll end up asking the tire dealer when I'm ready to buy them.

Alright, I didn't realize you actually intended to run laps.
I am pretty sure that a h rated tire is enough for 130 mph, I used to have that on my 3 series beemer a few years back. if yu want to you can get V rated or Z rated tires, but the sidewall stiffness will go up, and they might not heat up to an optimum temp w/o enough speed.
I don't know wheel size and I am one of the dirty truck variety these days, that damn pavement is just too hard for these bones anymore. I haven't been about a track in a few years, but I have my share of turns in at willow springs in So Cal and a little track in the desert by the name of Holtville. You know, if you live in NorCal youmight want to hit up Laguna Seca, I am sure a truck would get pretty interesting when the rear gets unloaded as you are scrubbin some speed coming into the corkscrew I assume you drive a truck, right?
sorry bout the Peanmut gallery earlier, it just read kind of funny, that "137" stuff and all.
Besides? how do you pedal that fast?

I guess the way " I pedal so fast" is by being provoked by an Iroc on 280 north bound. I made it to the 130 point according to the provoker (my friend), on a straight away.
Stupid, but fun. That's why I want to take her to the track...see what she can do, especially after the last mod.
Thanks for your reply
