I had the day off so I went, pardon the pun, "tire-kickin". I ran across a tire brand call Chaparral. I never heard of them before, but the tire salesman said they we made by Yokohama. They looked almost like a BFG MT's but with a little different tread pattern. They were reasonably priced. Just curious if anybody has any info on them or owns a set. Are they good/bad???
I am just skeptical of off brands.

 

I had a set of 32x11.50x15 AT Chaparals on a 91 Toyota Ext. Cab 4x4. They were a great tire for the amount of money I payed for them. They were fairly quiet and wore great. Not bad traction either in any conditions. Don't know how they would wear on a heavier truck though.
