Need answer quick!

Ford garage replaced front pads 1 yr ago. They now say I need pads again. previous pads lasted at least 4 times as long (I think they were origional from fact.)

No change in driving conditions/habits. I am a heavy braker.

I suspect they put a faster wearing pad on it when they replaced it the last time.

What is the best longer wearing pad to put on this truck??

What would have been origional??

Is ceramic harder then semi-metalic or vice versa??

Thanks

Randy

pads

most likley they used motorcrft pads NOT FORD. 2 reasons cheaper than ford and softer and and less noise. noise is a big issue because of high customer expectations and nearly all people return with brake squeak complaints after brake jobs.
