does Durango = BFGoodrich?

Hello all,

I was in my local truck toy store this afternoon. We were talking about tires and I asked him his opinion of the BFGoodrich.

He was quick to point out that he sells Durango tires and that they are the same tire but labeled Durango as opposed to BFG.

I know that there are just a small handfull of tire manufactors in the world and that alot of co-branding goes on. But I've never heard that Durango = BFG. Is this really the case?

He said he sells them for less then the BFG.

Thanks all,
David

Thanks for the reply. I'm rather doubting the claim.

I found this about your tires. They are not what the tire shop is telling you. But it's not uncommon for big named tire manufacturer's to own many smaller less known tire brands.

Durango tires are a "Roadmaster tires are manufactured in the USA, by Cooper Tire Co. Roadmaster tires offer excellent quality at very low prices. "

FYI Cooper tires are decent tires.

Good luck
