Question Raybestos products

I know I will need to do my breaks again by the end of the summer and was wondering if anyone had noticed a decrease in the brake fade with the raybestos product compared to the OEM product. Also do they put off any more dust than the OEM? When I say product I mean pads and rotors. Any input would be appreciated, the fade is driving me crazy and there is still about half of the pads left!

Raybestos is a long-time and well-respected supplier of OEM brake material.

Your comment is similar to "...was wondering if anyone had noticed a decrease in the [traction loss] with the [Firestone] product compared to the OEM product..."

(Perhaps I could have chosen a better tire manufacturer for the comparison -- grin -- but I'm sure you caught the similarity.)

I have Raybestos Superstop pads on factory rotors, and am quite happy with them. Very little dust compared to the factory pads, and the braking is good as well. I have not noticed any fade, but I don't drive my Expy like I drive sports cars.

I have always been happy with Raybestos. Never had problems with them. Bendix is also another good brand.
