Question any body convert from drums to discs?

I like the ease of maintanence on discs and will cosider the conversion if there is not a lot to it. I know later trucks come with discs so I could pick me up a complete rear from a junk yard and bolt it in. What concerns me is the line pressures and compatibility. thanks

I was also curious about doing this mod.

Of course Ford came out with rear disc in late 99 and my truck is a early 99

I have seen kits to change the earlier Mustang over to rear wheel disc but I have seen nothing on the trucks.

Did you ever find anything?

As for swapping a hole rear I don't think that would be neccesary.

The kits I have seen use a bracket to hold the caliper, it bolts onto where the dust shield/back plate of the drum brakes do.

As far as the ABS, that would require some work/engineering!
