Post Rear Brake Squeek when pedal pressed.

I have a 1999 F-150 Super Cab 4x4. Ever since about 10,000 miles the rear brakes had been squeeking when the pedal was depressed or the emergency brake set. I took it to Click Ford in Irvine first and they said it was a Lubrication problem and wanted 50 bucks to do it. I then took it to Santa Margarita Ford, three times. The first time they took the back brakes apart and never really said what they did. The noise came back two days later. The second attempt, they replaced the front pads and rear shoes, turning the rotors and drums. Which I found very unnecessary but I am not complaining. It didn't fix it. The third attempt they got it right, greasing the backing plate on the rear drums where the actuator is. It's been three weeks and no noise.

Unhappy

I've had the same thing happen, but not on
the truck. got so bad that it locked up the rears because it wore a groove in the backing plate. the shoes got stuck in them and wouldn't release.
