Post Brakes making noise??

My brakes are making a high pitched noise like they are worn out yet I have checked them and they still have plenty of padding. I have about 35000 miles on it. They also make noise when i turn the steering wheel. Anybody had any problems like this or any advice?

Sounds like your brake pad wear indicator is contacting the rotor. I have had the exact same situation (in other vehicles)..and this was the cause (I also looked and had a good deal of pad left). If you let this continue for an extended period..you can damage your rotors. Mine also would make the noise when turning.

You can either slightly bend it back or install new brakes. If it is indeed this situation..I would recommend turning the rotors (if they will still be in specs) and add new brake pads.
