hey, well im actually new to the truck scene i sold my 92' 5.0 and got a 2004 f-150 4x2. its the base model. if anyone ever wants to do a group meet you can count me in.

 

You guys know I'm down for a meet and greet In San Diego or somewhere close. The Race Legal meet we had wasn't too bad for our first one. My next few weeks are stacked though. I'm transitioning from the Navy in 2 weeks to be a civilian again, getting a house, and I'm gonna sign up for school again so I have a lot on my plate. So I'm in, time permitting. A beach meet is perfect, too. I better not be the only guy in the water though. I don't care how cold it is!

How about a meet at miramar speed circuit in End of March? There is a 2 for one deal in the local flyer....

Sounds good. I just looked it up on the internet, looks like fun. I don't have plans for the end of March as of yet. Maybe I'll bring my boy and let him hit up the go karts.

There is another Race Legal this coming Friday on the 19th. I thought it was last Friday but I guess I was wrong. There have been a lot of cancellations lately due to weather but hopefully the next event will hold up.

Yup, Friday @ 6pm. I'm not gonna show up until around 7 though since it doesn't start getting busy until after that. I'm bringing my ol lady and boy in case anyone wants to bring family too. Hopefully Race Legal has some good stuff planned and a good turn out since the last few events have been canceled. Everyone remember though, it's $8 per person to watch and $30 for anyone who wants to race. If you plan on racing you need to wear closed toe shoes and long pants. If you don't bring your own DOT approved helmet you can rent one for $20. Also too, they WILL inspect your vehicle to make sure it's safe to race if you choose to do so. Racers need to bring a driver's license and registration. You have to pay cash and there is no atm. They also sell food, drinks, and Race Legal memorabilia. YOU CANNOT DRINK at the event. Remember, these events are sponsored by the San Diego Police Department so they will be there walking around. If enough of you guys go I might make some chorizo burritos. So who's down? Mmmm... chorizo!
