sure people do. its a great close place to ride, poor mans glamis. dont know how it is for trucks but everything you could want for dirtbikes. the park rangers are strict on underage drinking, even in campsites so dont bring anyone under 21 if you are going to party at nite.

Tons of people go to Ocotillo. Its always packed during the weekends and during the holidays in desert season. It has a different attraction from places like glamis because its more of a trail riding place. I believe its something like 80,000 acres to ride on. There are two tiny "dunes" if you will, that i can get up i my stock IH scout so there pretty easy. As far as the rangers, you can drink if your under 21 as long as you are not being a belligerent idiot. They don't allow pallets anymore either because of the nails. Its fun for trucks but way more fun for dirtbikes, quads, sandrails, and rhinos.

I suggest you check it out. Its alot of fun if you have a big group of people.

Can't agree more, the place is a blast.we go as often as possible, just get back last sunday night.was out there for presidents weekend and it wasn't packed like it usually is.but none the less it was still busy, and full of everything, quads, bikes, rhinos, and trucks to. Ogterror meet up with me out there and we were going up blow sand and behind the bowl by the covehe busted out the front left shaft.but we still mad the sand hill again in "3 wheel drive low."he also took the truck to pumkin patch, gas domes and artesia wells.when we were at shell reef he went up all the faces but he didn;t know what was on the other side so just up and over to the next trail. It just seemed too easy for his truck you sound check it out.he went to hugary valley(gorman) this weekend but i couldn't make it.
