plans sadly changed, how ever Dec 5th. if you feel up to it, my local track is having races. So if you feel like coming down a bunch of us trucks will be there. .

so we are having a meet to send off Tyco, he will be departing to denver very soon. it will be at his house on the 6th of feb time is TBD. you vegas cronnies down? any so-cal folks??

I will be moving to Denver but the date keeps getting pushed back and now its till at least after the wedding in Sept. I'd like to move right after that but I just got a promotion at work and I want to see how it plays out.

Anyways, Dave is getting deployed overseas again so that is the real reason for the meet/greet/farewell/come home safely BBQ. ALL VEGAS AND ANY OTHER MEMBERS ARE WELCOME TO COME

or there is the Jensen Park, which is walking distance from my house(I live on Jensen). Nice park, BBQs, good picture area.

 

I know where that park is at. I'm deathly afraid of going down the slides there. It's a gruesome tale if anyone would like to hear it. But yeah, I know where that's at, Lone Mtn and Grand Canyon area.

According to the news, it's going to rain this entire weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I hope there's a canopy at the park, as it's been a while since I've been there.

Oh yeah, and I was there with some friends just running around and being crazy a few years ago. I dedicded to go down this slide, and on my way down, I got stuck half way. Then I was hit with this gross stench. I scooted myself down and realised someone pee'd down there some time back, and it was nasty! I threw my pants in the bed, went back home, and haven't been down a slide at a public park since, rofl.

 

yeah the weather is gonna suck this weekend...figures, never rains in Vegas except the one time you try to plan an outdoor event.
But yes there are some large canopies.

Yeah I'll tell ya, those straight plastic tube slides are ruthless and scary! But that's okay, quite the lesson learned
