Sorry I missed the meet guys. I just couldn't get out of work long enough to justify the 14 hours of driving. Looks like you had a blast though.

 

Looking at that video I guess I did get myself out there most of the way. The hummer just had to get me unstuck. If anybody ever goes to Pismo lower your tire pressures, it made all the difference.

You did fine as you can see in the video once you were aired down, you still could have went down a little more if needed anyway. Airing down is common knowledge offroad whether you're on rocks or sand, but on the sand it's a must. I didn't air down but I didn't plan on hitting the dunes in 2wd either :P

Joe, when would work for you? Lets get this next trip planned. It has to be a month out at the least but I'm open for dates, start throwing them out there. Make SURE there is no holiday's on that day, and this time you all MUST reserve. We had to sneak in sorta.

They should have pulled where the yellow jeep was, up the slight incline instead of the crazy high dune. I wish I saw that, but better yet I wish I was able to help! ****ing 2wd.

haha the tailgate reflection. I dont know about the jeep, he was there for like over an hr, I left and came back and they were still working on it. He was a few miles out anyways, seeing how he broke 4wd it was going to be a long drive back.
