There is SO a forum for this. (saying this is my best california impersonation voice from the OC).

Seriously, all you surfers take it somewhere else. Leave the rest of us to sulk in crummy weather.

We SO want people to show up for this...did you actually check the traffic in that forum?

I don't see the harm in one more thread to weed through. Not like we have to weed through hundreds of "help me pick..." or "which tuner/intake/lift/tires/etc..threads already. Surely, this one is a bit of fresh air compared to those, huh?

Besides, we've already been warned from RockPick no more after this one.

I'll dedicate my first beer (at Pismo) to you Duke!

I know, that's why I posted the link to that forum, because I think everyone has forgotten about it.

You guys have fun while the rest of us work in a sober manner.

Oh we will, and we're planning on forgetting to take pics

All of you who are coming need to private message or email your contact info (private message preferred) to myself if you live in NorCal and to BryPink2 if you live in SoCal. I will call you the day before to verify whats happening, whose coming, etc.

The location is also known as Oceano Dunes so if you're going register for free on Reserve America it will be labeled as so, not Pismo SB! and you'll pay the entrance fee when you get there. We'll be sure to have no shortage of food (if there is I'll make a run but I'd appreciate a little financial help). Will definitely be a fun, relaxed day.

So, I'm confused...do we need to reserve a site? If so, can we reserve as a group?

Bry, I just called Reserve America and you can reserve up to two sites per phone call. To reserve 2 sites it would have costed me $35, I didn't have that in the account at the time of the phone call, lol. So a clarification here, you have to pay over the phone via credit card or other means. It's $17.50/vehicle. I asked if I towed a Jeep on a trailer if that would count as one and she "believed" so. Not sure what thats worth.

Very cool Chris I hope it works out for you

Bry it's not necessary to reserve a camp site but I'm not sure if it will be super busy because of the holiday weekend coming up the week after.

Yeah, you're probably right. Just like the desert...off weekends are never busy.

I still think everyone should do a reservation before hand though. Just to be safe.

Josiah - Will you be getting there early? You could mark off the area. We need a tall flag or something to let everyone that trickles in know where we are at. Alot of desert goers do this at camp grounds...easy to spot your campsite.

We'll try to leave earlier than the rest of you. I plan to be there by 12pm at least. I hope the rest of you NorCal guys can wake up and do that (we'll have to leave home by about 8am). Sure we can all tape it off with our trucks. Make sure you ALL bring flags, I know its a requirement out there. Whether it be a huge ford flag, or a dinky orange caution flag, I doubt it matters to them. If I were you I'd look online and order right now if you want something different than the rest of the trucks there. The rep for Pismo said it's starting to get packed as of lately up there.

Crap...I almost forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder.
