Question throttle bodys

I really don't know much about throttle bodys. I had a CPI in my last vehicle.
And is a spacer worth the cost.

Are you saying you want to upgrade your Throttle Body?

I have a spacer on my truck, but I am not sure if it did whole lot because I did more than one mod at the same time I put it in. I don't feel like removing it to see if it has done anything, because the last time I took something off that many say supposedly don't work I learned it actually did help.

My .02 cents....

Is go with a BBk , just like TexfordD said, they make a good one, cant remember what I paid for it 2 years ago though.

And if you are any good with a air dremel, or dremel of some sort then take off some of the walls in the elbow that goes into the intake, bore it out a little so to speak..And also most TB spacers wont work with a BBk cause the bore size is bigger on the TB then the TB spacer. And that would be a huge restriction.

#1..spacers suck
#2..T/B'S are great especially if you have other mods, but you need to bore out the upper elbow to match it or it's pretty much useless....

throttle body is a waste of time and money on a stock motor with stock heads a stock cam. recently saw a 70 mm throttle body on a stock 5.0 mustang and i lost power and torque. the stock one (on our trucks) is 68mm i think.
