Engine Missing during Acceleration

I have 97 4.6 F150 that yesterday all of sudden at startup started idling really rough, then when accelerating on highway it is lacking the normal snap a is running rough, then the check engine light came on. I have had the O2 sensor change 3 months ago, clean the air intake sensor, changed the fuel filter, and disconnected the battery to reset the system. I going to go throught the plugs today. Anyone else experience any of these symptoms, and what was need to fix this issue.

Thanks

Troy

I was hoping it was the plugs, changed them and took her out she still seems to be missing and vibrate during accelation, she probable will have to go into the dealer unless there is some other easy non diagnostic problem.

Thanks

Same thing happened to my 97 at about 52000 miles. Had to change the plugs and the wires, but runs like a champ now.

Took her to the dealer and they change the coil on the passenger side, she ran like a champ till today, coming hope the miss and check engine light are back. I bought another coil and replace both of them, she still misses. Anybody ever experience this or have any possible solution.

Thanks

I had the same problem with my '99 4.6, i changed the plugs and wires, and when i took out the back passenger side plug, there was a piece of paper in the wire boot, it must have gotten in there the last time i had my plugs changed, well it fixed my problem, and now it runs as well as ever
