Amazing!!
This 4.6L is an amazing engine.
I just drove from Barstow to Sacramento today on ONE tank of gas.
According to the tripometer it was 399.7 miles between fillups and it took 21.2 gallons. Thats 18.85 MPG and on top of that I had the cruise set at 75 the whole way. I was amazed since my Xterra only gets about 12 MPG and the frontier I traded in on it only got about 15-16.
Additionally I made the trip to go and pick up an 8ft cab over camper that believe it or not someone was giving away for free. I just got the truck yesterday and read some posts last night on towing. I was thinking I might have a little problem with only the 4.6. None whatsoever. I set the cruise at 60 all the way home and that's what it did all the way home and I still got 15 MPG.
