Save Your Money Tim

Hey Tim, I can't tell you much about the intake itself exept for the fact that it looks a little cheap. Not trying to upset you or anything, but you get what you pay for. It may look tempting price wise however you may not be satisfied with it performance wise. However the reason I wanted to write you back is the Company Selling this Intake is the biggest RIP OFF since Bottled Water. I'm not BSing you I have delt with this company and gave them two negative feedbacks on Ebay. There Shipping is slow and if you have a problem they don't stand behind there products. Besides that everthing the sell is Taiwan Junk. Me and a couple other people where actually responsible for getting this company kicked off Ebay for a while.

Hey do me a favor check out there feedback once they average like 100 negatives a week. Don't belive me check it out. ProCarParts Sucks big time. I know that's how I feel. Again Tim not trying to tell you what to do just looking out for you and telling you my experince with them. One last suggestion to you, if you are going to purchase a Intake off Ebay I would suggest you purchase it from someone else, NOT PROCARPARTS. Thanks for your time and letting me vent a little. Ps. I would recommend K@N or AirForce1 Intakes.

Another user bought one of these on ebay back in sept. from a different seller with much better feedback / history of selling items. Check out the post "FIPK on ebay for $80???" . He was very happy with this unit and doesn't think it can be beat for the price. Good Luck

Talking

I'm not the one that posted that, but I bought one from someone else. I don't think you can beat the price. As with anything, you can expect there to be good and bad. The good is obviously the price. The bad is the quality of the hose clamps and the questionable filter that comes with it.(No one knows who makes it or if it is quality) All in all I am very happy with it. I think it improved things as well as the higher end kits.

Just remember to put the air silencer back in the hose before you finish the install. It will save alot of headaches!!

Good luck,
Mike

I was mentioned earlier as a buyer...

Well, looks like someone beat me to it. I was going to buy the AF1 intake but could not resist this "ebay kit" for the price My only complant so far is that I have seemed to lose some on the gas mileage (went from 17 in town to 15mpg). This is probably due to me on the gas more often to hear the tone and quicker accleration!

go to www.aempower.com they have the best dyno rating on hp and torque gains for an air intake. The product will not be on the market until Dec 16th but they are a great company that stands behind their products. Save some money and buy a quality product. Dont buy it on ebay just because it's cheap in price, usually the quality will be the same, especially the quality of the air filter element. Another thing to watch is bad chroming of the tube, it can flake off and get sucked into the motor...BAD NEWS!!
