Anyone know if Ford makes a replacement head besides the same hed that comes on them to fix the issue of blowing spark plugs?

Thanks guys!

Hi,

The answer is no.

I've heard you could take the stock aluminum cylinder heads to a competent machine shop and they can add aluminum to the bore to increase thread depth: something i wish I knew about when the shop took off the head before putting a helicoil on (which makes me nervous, since they're not a permanent fix).

Also, I've heard that aftermarket replacement performance heads MAY be available, but I don't know any specifics, or if it's true.
