Idle speed
Could anyone tell me what the idle speed should be for a 98 with a 4.6 V8? Mine idles at about 600 in drive but jumps up to 750 in park. Thank you.

According to Ford:

Specifications - With Automatic Transmission & Manual

Hot Idle 680 - 830 rpm



I'm pretty sure these specs are for: Neutral/Park, not In Gear.
