FIPK on SD didn't work...
I bought the K&N FIPK, nice kit with heat shield, clean install, much nicer than the one on my old '97 F150. But it didn't have the power gains my '97 did, in fact the bottom end seemed to have lower hp and torque. Above 4,000rpm it felt better (I think, couldn't really tell), but that does me no good since most of the time I'm running between 1,700-3,000rpm.
Anyone else have this experience?
I'd like to hear your opinions on the matter, maybe the cold air Voltera would gain more over a stock box with K&N?
Thanks for the info.
