Spark plug...Heat range
Hi Old to some/new to me. My first engine with plat.plugs
Used "search" Found some info. But----
From threads ive seen alot of you have switched from the OEM Ford PP...for another brand pp.
Seems that your new brand PP is working...fine/great/no problems. Im always surpised at how many respond this way.
Point is...heat range...are the replacement plugs same range or different than OEM? Do you just go by the way engine runs? Do you pull a plug out later on to see how its been working/firing? Or does this not apply to the pp? It does on non pplugs.
Example: 4.6L OEM Ford AWSF 32 PP...(if applicable)..what would be the considered heat range of this plug?
Has anyone gone back to OEM after trying another brand pp? If so, why?
TIA for any info. OT
