Hmmm, my oil filter is on the back of the engine, the 4.2 filter is in the front?. It might be a little different, then. I'll find the sender eventually though Does anyone know if you can do this same procedure with the water temp sender?,,,,98

I mean a T-fitting arrangement?

Rerouted tube

JMC,

Thanks for the suggestions on rerouting the tube. I closed up the hood and pulled in the garage before taking pictures, but I made a grommet for the firewall and then put a tubing protector in the engine compartment.

The tube is completely away from the exhaust manifold, up against the fender as you suggested.

Thanks!
