Adding a REAL Oil Pressue gauge, drain first?

Hmmm, my oil filter is on the back of the engine, the 4.2 filter is in the front?. It might be a little different, then. I'll find the sender eventually though
Does anyone know if you can do this same procedure with the water temp sender?,,,,98

Rerouted tube
JMC,
Thanks for the suggestions on rerouting the tube. I closed up the hood and pulled in the garage before taking pictures, but I made a grommet for the firewall and then put a tubing protector in the engine compartment.
The tube is completely away from the exhaust manifold, up against the fender as you suggested.
