Does anyone know if the 99' or later PI heads can be bolted on a 97' 5.4L without any modifications? Is it a direct swap and will the PCM be able to adjust or will it need a custom burned chip? I have seen pics of the difference in the porting on the PI and NON PI heads and man what a difference. If so, where could a get a good deal on a set.

JL, Thanks for the inform. I am planning or installing a Magnacharger and when I read about the difference with the PI heads I thought I would try to take advantage of the power difference. I was also planning on a custom tune with the Magna kit to eliminate the FMU and it comes with a new intake so it sounds like it would be a straight forward swap.
