My dealer just informed me that the previous owner of my truck put a superchip in my truck and then traded it in. 2001 SCrew 5.4L. I don't know anything about them?? I originally took it in because it seemed to be shifting funny. It would hang on to higher gear and then shift down right as I stepped into the accelerator after yielding or coasting before accelerating. The dealer says that it is ok on the tranny and that it was chip doing it. Can anybody tell me some pointers with these? No other mods but I am considering K&N with airbox mod.
